Radiesse® contains calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel-like carrier. While the gel provides an immediate volumizing effect, it doesn’t act like traditional hyaluronic acid fillers that simply fill space. Instead, the CaHA particles work by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production, leading to firmer, smoother skin and results that typically last longer than standard fillers.
